The questions every owner carries around

  1. 01

How much do I owe in taxes right now?

  2. 02

Is the business actually profitable this quarter?

  3. 03

How many miles can I write off from all those client meetings?

Most owners answer them in a spreadsheet, in April, from memory. Dollar Glider answers them as you go.

Your calendar already knows where you drove for work.

Dollar Glider builds your mileage log from the meetings you already booked. No GPS tracking, and no swiping after every drive.

  1. Step 1

    Connect Google Calendar

Pick the calendars that hold your client work. Access is read-only, so we never change an event.

  2. Step 2

    Approve the trips it finds

Meetings with an address arrive with the miles and a business purpose already written. Places you go every week, like the office, can be approved automatically.

  3. Step 3

Hand your accountant a clean log

Export a CSV with the date, destination, business purpose, miles and deduction for every trip. Those are the details IRS Publication 463 asks you to keep.

$1,069

estimated 2026 deduction

8 client visits a month, 15 miles round trip, adds up to 1,440 business miles a year. At the 2026 IRS standard rates that's the deduction on the left, and it only counts if you have the log to back it up. Trips that aren't on your calendar can be added by hand in seconds. IRS mileage rates

“I wanted to grow my business without the constant headache of not knowing what I owed in taxes, whether the business was going to make it, or how many miles I could write off for all the in-person client meetings. I knew there had to be a better way than a spreadsheet. Dollar Glider is that better way, built for owners like me.”

Questions owners ask

Is it free?

Yes, while we're in early access. If paid plans arrive, you'll hear about them first, and nothing is charged without your OK.

Do you track my location?

No. Trips come from your calendar and from what you enter. Nothing runs in the background on your phone.

Can Dollar Glider change my calendar?

No. Access is read-only, and you can disconnect it from Settings at any time.

Will my log hold up with the IRS?

Each trip records the date, destination, business purpose and miles, logged close to when you drove. That's what IRS Publication 463 asks for. Dollar Glider keeps the records; it isn't tax advice, so check with your tax pro.

Which mileage rate do you use?

The IRS standard rate in effect on each trip's date, including the 2026 increase on July 1. You can set your own rate in Settings.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open Dollar Glider in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen. It opens like any other app.

What happens to my data?

It's yours. Export it or delete your account at any time. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. The details are in our privacy policy.
